Colleen Keenan
I was introduced to yoga and the idea of movement as a way to heal the body at a very young age when I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. During that time I was fortunate enough to have people in my life who taught me how to connect to and listen to my body through yoga, meditation, breath, and movement. I drew on this valuable mind-body connection as a successful collegiate athlete and later as I pursued a career in fitness.
I've been a certified cardio kickboxing and group fitness instructor for the past 25 years and after the birth of my kids I took up competitive running and stair climbing. In 2016, I stumbled across Shiva Shakti Power Yoga while training for the Mount Washington road race and nursing some major running pains. After my first class I was hooked and never looked back. Baptiste yoga brought me back to my roots and my body, and taught me how to train hard and prevent injury.
After completing my yoga teacher training with Brandon and Naima in 2025, my yoga journey has come full circle. I feel so fortunate that I am able to help others with their fitness and mind-body connection through Baptiste power yoga.
